What TotBash is
TotBash publishes general guidance, planning tools and a directory of party businesses for families in Australia. Everything here is general information. It is not professional, safety, legal, financial or medical advice, and it is not tailored to your situation. You are responsible for the decisions you make for your own event.
The planning tools
The Theme Picker, Budget Calculator and other tools give rough starting points based on the answers you enter. Cost ranges are estimates only and vary a lot by location, supplier and season. Always confirm real prices and availability yourself.
The vendor directory
A listing in the directory is not an endorsement. TotBash is not an agent for any listed business, does not take bookings or payments, and earns nothing from directory click-throughs. Before you book any entertainer, venue or supplier, confirm directly with them:
- current pricing, availability and what's included;
- public liability insurance;
- a valid Working with Children Check for anyone who will be with the children;
- safety and set-up requirements (for example for inflatables).

Affiliate links
Some pages contain affiliate links. If you buy through one, TotBash may earn a commission from the retailer at no extra cost to you. Pages with affiliate links say so at the top. This is covered further on the Privacy page.
Your use of the site
You may read TotBash, use the tools, and share links to our pages. Please don't copy our articles wholesale, scrape the site, or misrepresent our content as your own. The text, design, illustrations and code are ours unless stated otherwise.
No warranties
We work to keep TotBash accurate and available, but we provide it "as is". To the extent the law allows, we don't guarantee the site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any information is complete or current. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, TotBash is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, the tools, or any business you find through the directory. Your dealings with third-party businesses are between you and them.
Links to other sites
We link to other websites for your convenience. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices.
Changes
We may update these terms. Changes take effect when posted here, with a new "last updated" date.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia, and the courts of that state.
